George Michael admits drug-drive accusation
Famous singer George Michael has affirmed on Tuesday that he had been under the influence of marijuana when his car crashed into a shop on London last month.
Michael, 44, pleaded guilty in the court of the magistrate infront of a judge and might face imprisonment when he will be facing another court hearing this coming September 14, 2010. According to the Press Association, Robin McPhee revealed to the court that it is obvious that the alternatives in respect of the sentence are still undecided that include the right to imprisonment.
George Michael became popular when he joined the band known as Wham! He then decided to pursue his solo career. In 2007, he was banned from driving and was subjected for 4 days and 4 hours community service following his admission that he is under the influence of drugs.
During the hearing, the court heard the revelation on how the singer discovered felt at his Range Rover car wheel in the early hours back in July 4 after colliding into the front view of a shop in Hampstead in London.
He was suspected to be under the influence of drugs because he looks so weary and sweating excessively with his dilated eyes.
Michael was apprehended and was bought to the police station in Hampstead and the investigators discovered possessing marijuana cigarettes. He underwent blood testing and found chemicals connected to marijuana in his blood sample although he was not drunk. Two year ago, he apologized to his supporters following his arrest and was cautioned by the authority for carrying illegal drugs and claimed not to happen again.
